Brilliant teams break boundaries! We are looking for a Human Resource Generalist to join our team.

Reporting to the President and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times; the Human Resource Generalist provides support in all HR functions including; policies and programs, recruitment and staffing, training and development, event planning, health and safety administration and employee relations.


    • Proactively recruits, headhunts, interviews and maintains talent pipeline to fill vacant positions for Switchback
    • Identify and explore new sources for relevant candidates
    • Pre-screen candidates and send resumes to hiring managers
    • Follow up with Hiring Managers on a regular basis in regards to the hiring process
    • Perform reference and background checks on new hires
    • Plans and conducts on-boarding activities to foster positive attitude toward company goals
    • Administration of new hire paperwork & current employee documentations
    • Draft HR forms, checklists and documents
    • Administer self and manager assessments
    • Updating the organizational chart as required
    • 401k plan liaison/ coordinator
    • Coordinate trainings such as: first aid, labor, Health & Safety awareness and machine training
    • Other administrative support as required
    • Supports administration of Employee relations policies and procedures
    • Supports administration of all Health and Safety policies and procedures keeping them up to date and in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health
    • Supports the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies
    • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions ensuring policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
    • Participate in workplace inspections and documenting findings
    • Preparing and logging health and safety minutes
    • Partake in organizing all company communications and meetings related to employee relations (town hall meetings, H&S presentations, HR policy and process deployment)
    • Coordinate all Facility maintenance issues including Building security and Fire prevention / detection facilities


  • Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources management
  • Human Resource Designation (or in the process of completing)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an HR environment, including recruiting
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Outstanding creative writing and presentation development and delivery skills
  • Above average command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Document writing at senior management level
